Dear Chris is a fictional correspondence between a college professor, nicknamed Dr. Mac, and a former student, Chris. Dr. Mac tackles real life theological and ethical questions that emerge from Chris's family life and his work as a newspaper reporter, questions that are typical of the concerns of many Christians today. Topics such as the death of a child, infertility, the character of God, the uniqueness of Jesus, and the choice of a career are treated from the context of Christian theology.
McWilliams, a college professor for more than 20 years, provides an overview of systematic Christian theology in a personal, readable format. The narrative flows smoothly from and between complex issues in much the same way these issues confront us day to day.
