Newswander of LDS in the USA interviews with The Cultural Hall Podcast

Following up the stellar release of LDS in the USA, co-author Lynita Newswander interviewed with The Cultural Hall Podcast. That interview, in which Lynita talks about the life and culture of Mormons in Amreica, is now live and available for download at the Cultural Hall's website. Richie, the host, very kindly says "this is a great book" to his co-host about half-way through the interview.

WPR "At Issue" interviews Dennis Goldford on political compromise

A "contentious issue" discussed in a "non-contentious manner." These are the words of WPR's "At Issue" host Ben Merens in introducing the topic approached by Dennis Goldford live on the air yesterday. Goldford, whose new book The Constitution of Religious Freedom: God, Politics, and the First Amendment will release in March, spoke for an hour on "At Issue" in response to a recent New York Times op-ed on political compromise.

Greg Garrett talks Harry Potter with KWTX TV

Maybe you think the Harry Potter craze is about at the ends of its rope. Yet, many believe the end of the film saga marks only the beginning of a long, long life for those fascinated with J.K. Rowling's wizarding world.

Yesterday evening, Greg Garrett, author of One Fine Potion: The Literary Magic of Harry Potter was a featured guest on the Waco CBS affiliate, KWTX. He talked with host Emily Iazzetti about just why Rowling's heroic boy wizard will live on throughout the generations, attracting new readers and devotees for decades to come.
